Jackson Walker, LLP is seeking a lateral recruitment professional to work closely with the Chief Recruiting Officer and lateral recruitment team to further develop and manage an efficient and sustainable program that enables the firm to effectively identify, assess, and on-board lateral partner candidates.  The professional will have statewide responsibilities with the focus of primarily supporting the recruitment of lateral partners.  Responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of supporting processes and systems, cultivation and management of critical relationships (both internal and external), and seamless facilitation of lateral partner candidates. 






1.       Bachelor’s degree; JD preferred.

2.       Excellent organization, communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

3.       Ability to work well with others at all levels and to gain the confidence of professionals at all levels.

4.       Highly responsive with a strong sense of time management and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines efficiently and effectively.

5.       Ability to comfortably and competently handle sensitive and confidential information.

6.       Self-motivation and flexibility; ability to navigate roadblocks and deal with the unplanned and unexpected to find alternative ways to get things done.

7.       Strong presentation, facilitation, research, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

8.       Strong attention to detail.

9.       Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
