Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a 3 to 5 year Associate to join the Labor & Employment department in our Southern California office located in Costa Mesa. This attorney will work on a wide variety of employment litigation matters, including wage and hour class actions, single plaintiff cases, and advice matters. Dorsey offers opportunities for advancement within a collegial work environment, in which you will be encouraged to develop relationships with clients, will be afforded opportunities to take on a meaningful role in the litigation and strategy, and will have latitude to engage in marketing efforts. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced employment attorney with an option to work a part-time schedule. Full-time associates are expected to achieve 1850 billable hours per year (which is the true target; no unspoken expected minimum billable hour requirement). Qualified candidates will have:

- 3 to 5 years of employment law experience (traditional labor law will also be considered)

- Excellent analytical and writing skills,

- Relevant work experience, and

- Strong academic performance.

California state bar admission is required.
