Job Details

Kilpatrick Townsend seeks a remote full-time USPTO-registered patent prosecution Attorney experienced in preparing and prosecuting software-related applications. This position enables interaction with attorneys in a number of our offices and clients staffed out of different offices, while providing geographic flexibility for the Applicant.  By combining telepresence technology and periodic visits to one of our offices, you will be integrated into several client teams.

Applicants with 5+ years of experience in patent prosecution are preferred, with aptitude for portfolio development and client counseling a plus. Applicant must have a USPTO Reg. No. and possess a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Applicant must be detail oriented and have strong written and verbal skills. Transcripts and patent prosecution writing samples will be requested. Prefer candidates based in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, or Washington.
