Job Details

Archer & Greiner is seeking a litigation associate for its Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Insolvency Litigation Group in its Wilmington, Delaware office. Candidates must have outstanding academic credentials and experience in Federal Bankruptcy Court. Our practice provides sophisticated counsel to domestic and foreign clients in all types of insolvency and litigation matters, including out of court workouts, forbearance agreements, assignments for creditors, receiverships, bankruptcy planning and preparation, pre-packs, motion practice, adversary proceedings, plan formulation, pre and post-confirmation matters, bankruptcy sales, trials, appeals and other matters listed on our website at


DE Bar admission and litigation experience required, and NJ Bar admission and litigation experience preferred. All candidates must have excellent communication skills, must be self-motivated and able to work independently and efficiently, and possess superior academic credentials. Ideal candidates will also have the following qualifications.

  • 2 to 5 years' experience as an attorney in a bankruptcy debtor/creditor litigation practice

  • Experience with all pre-trial phases of litigation, including

    • all aspects of pre-trial discovery and motion practice,

    • some first-chair experience handling depositions and court appearances

  • Superior research skills

  • Excellent writing, drafting and case analysis skills

  • Delaware state court litigation/chancery experience preferred.
